- When
Humberto Toledo won the UBO
Inter-Continental Lightweight
title in September of 2010, he
was already an experienced and
established contender.
A
move up to Super Lightweight in
2011 did not go well for him, as
he was stopped in two rounds by
American Miguel Angel “Silky
Smooth” Gonzalez , so he
returned to Lightweight where he
picked up the South American
title.
Since then its been up and down
for Toledo, who at thirty-eight
years of age has his best days
behind him. Now fighting at
Welterweight and Super
Welterweight, he is undefeated
in his last three bouts (2-0-1),
but it has been against very
limited opposition.
