Winning the Universal Boxing
Organization (UBO) World Junior
Flyweight title on December 15,
2012 would be the last big
accomplishment of Ju Hee Kim,
and her last fight over all.
With
no less than six world
championships on her resume, she
will undoubtedly go down in
history as one of the best
female boxers from South Korea,
if not the best, and in the
world.
Her career was quite remarkable,
as she turned professional at
only fifteen and retired at only
twenty-six. Eleven of her
nineteen bouts were world title
encounters.
