After
winning the UBO Latino
Welterweight title in 2010,
Franklin Mamani went on to
capture several more titles at
Super Lightweight.
He
signed a contract with the most
famous promoter of all time, Don
King, and eventually moved down
to lightweight where he
challenged for the WBC World
title in 2016, losing to Dejan
Zlaticanin from Montenegro.
Since then he has won two bouts,
and lost an IBO title fight in
Belgium. His last fight, a
victory, was this past February
and at thirty-one years old he
still has time to accomplish a
lot in the sport.
