Hillman Shines, Decisions Kisarawe In Careers Biggest Fight

Following the victory, Hillman is recognized by the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) as its new Inter-Continental Bantamweight champion.

Kisarawe came in fit and confident, fresh off a first-round knockout victory less than three weeks ago, and made the home fighter work hard.

But Hillman was sharp and in the shape of his life, putting on a wonderful performance to earn a 97-93 verdict from the scoring referee.

“The best night of my career, and I am really proud and happy to have beaten a good opponent in Kisarawe”, said a jubilant Hillman.

Following the ten-round contest, by many considered the fight of the night, Hillman is now 16-6 (2), while former UBO All-Africa champion Kisarawe drops to 34-9-1 (18).

The show, billed “For All The Gold”, was promoted by BLVCK Box Global.

NOTE: The British Boxing Board of Control only recognize WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles. The UBO respects their stance.

The BBBC was notified in advance that the winner of this fight would be recognized by the UBO as Inter-Continental Bantamweight champion, and accepted that it is the UBO´s prerogative to do so.

The fight was contested with sole supervision of the BBBC, and in accordance with BBBC rules.
