Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) championship boxing returns to Baku in Azerbaijan as a clash of up-and-coming hopes will decide the vacant world Light Heavyweight title on November 19.

Local teenager Aykhan Ismayilov (18) is coming off winning the UBO International title on October 29, and will be making a remarkably quick turn-around when he takes on unbeaten former UBO European champion Hasan Kubilay Alcu from Turkey.

27-year-old Alcu (7-0, 6 KOs) won the UBO European title in September of 2021, and has since picked up a couple of low-profile non title victories. Risking his undefeated record in his opponents home-town, he is putting everything on the line to become world champion in only his eighth pro fight.

Ismayilov (6-1, 2 KOs), who can make history by becoming the youngest male UBO world champion ever, is looking to capitalize on the momentum he build when he beat compatriot Elnur Mammadov in five rounds for the International crown.

While the opportunity is coming early for both men, they both entered the paid ranks after solid amateur careers, and have title-fight experience in the professionals.

Promoted by TGA Promotion & Management in association with MCM Promotion and Serdar Avci Promotion, this shapes up to be an explosive fifty-fifty encounter between two highly talented fighters.
