With a
decent crowd cheering him on at the Salle de
Fautau in Fautau, Tahiti, Bellais took on
challenger Rocky Montoya (37) from Reynoso in
Mexico.
Montoya
came to fight his chance and had a bit of
success in the first and second round, but in
round three Bellais started to break him down.

When the
champion landed a crunching shot to the liver it
was all over at 2:32 of the stanza. Montoya
tried to get up, but was not able to.
31-year-old Bellais improved his professional
record to 23-8-3 (12). Montoya (37) drops to
32-4 (22).
