Konki Fight Night Headlined By UBO Title Fight

Konki Fight Night, promoted by Msololo Promotion on Saturday January 26 at Kinesi Stadium in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, will be headlined by a fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) All-Africa Welterweight title.

 
 

The contestants will be former Champion Idd Pialari (25-3-1, 18 KOs), who takes on former two-time Malawian national champion Wilson “Hard Hitter” Masamba (29-11-2, 10 KOs) in a quest to regain his old belt.

Besides the UBO All-Africa title, Pialari has also won the UBO International Welterweight title, as well as the Tanzanian national title, the World Boxing Federation (WBF) All-Africa title and the East & Central Africa title.

The 25-year-old from Bagamoyo has won his last eight bouts in a row.

Wilson Masamba (34) is coming off two draws and a loss for the WBO African title, so he is traveling to Tanzania determined to win the UBO title, despite entering the fight a healthy underdog.

The fight will be supported by a full undercard.
