Cheka has
won his last two outings convincingly, while
“Blue Fire” Mchanjo has only lost once in his
last eight fights, so both men will enter the
rematch with plenty of confidence.
Also on
the card, former UBO All-Africa Welterweight
titlist Salehe Mkalekwa (11-4, 3 KOs) will
attempt to regain his old crown when he fights
Ugandan Mubaraka Sseguya (10-4, 5 KOs) for the
vacant belt in the evenings co-feature.
Mkalekwa
defeated Kenyan James Onyango in 2016 to first
win the All-Africa title, but never defended it.
He is now eager to become a two-time champion,
but will be in with a tough opponent in Sseguya.
Finally,
local girl Halima Vunjabei (5-3-1, 3 KOs) takes
on Kenyan Nocholine Achieng (3-7, 1 KO) for the
vacant UBO Female International Junior Flyweight
title.
A full
undercard of interesting fights will complete
the quality show.
