Undefeated Super Featherweight Natalia Smirnova made short work of Ghanaian Yarkor Chavez Annan to win the vacant UBO Female World title, scoring a first round technical knockout when she overwhelmed her opponent by starting fast and eventually connecting with a hard left hook to end matters at 1:52 of the round.

The new world champion, 37 years old and based in Hamburg, Germany, improved her professional record to 8-0 (5), while Annan falls to 9-7-1 (3).

In the shows second UBO title fight, a clash of prospects, Russia’s Aliklych Kanbolatov (24) won a unanimous technical decision over 19-year-old Vladyslav Yeromenko to lift the vacant International Middleweight title.

In a rough and tumble affair, Yeromenko came out swinging and tried to unsettle Kanbolatov with pressure and hard hooks to body and head, but the local man stayed focused and scored well from the outside, and clinching when Yeromenko got too close.

It was an evenly contested fight, but Yeromenko was feeling the effects of his fast start, and started to tire badly after the fourth round. In round six he was cut over the left eye, and referee Alexander Kalinkin ruled that it was caused by an accidental clash of heads.

Since Yeromenko was unable to continue, bleeding badly from his injury, the bout went to the scorecards where Kanbolatov was ahead by 49-46, 49-46 and 49-47.

Aliklych Kanbolatov is now 8-2 (3), and five-time Ukrainian amateur champion Vladyslav Yemorenko drops to 1-1 (0), failing in his attempt to win a title in record time.

Also on the show, UBO World Cruiserweight Champion Dmitry Kudriashov remained undefeated with a seventh round stoppage of Ivica Bacurin (17-5-1, 7 KOs) from Croatia. Nicknamed “The Russian Hammer”, Kudriashov is now 14-0 (14).
