This will be the second shot at
this title for Nyilawila (17-10-2, 10 KOs), as he
lost a challenge against Francis Cheka in
September 2012. He has since won four of five
bouts, all four victories coming inside the
distance.
A former Tanzanian national and
WBF World Champion at Middleweight, Nyilawila must
be considered a favorite against former Tanzanian
Super Middleweight Champion Mbelwa.
Besides the Tanzanian national
crown, the massively experienced Said Mbelwa
(27-15-4, 19 Kos) has yet to win a significant
title, despite several opportunities all over the
world.
