UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Tough and rugged Sebastien Allais will challenge for the Universal Boxing Organization™ Inter-Continental Welterweight title on November 23 at the Complexe Sportif du Piloris in his hometown of Campbon, France.

Allais will take on Rachamongkol Sor Pleonchit from Thailand for the title, recently left vacant when another Frenchman and former foe, Loic Foure, retired.

Allais, who currently holds a professional record of 15-7-4 (5), battled Foure to a ten-round draw in a clash for the vacant French title last November, and since dropped a split decision to the fringe world class Frank Haroche Hota for that same crown this past February.

Now, at age 32 and after more than five years in the paid ranks, he is hoping to finally win his first professional championship against the experienced and unorthodox Sor Ploenchit.

Southpaw Rachamongkol Sor Pleonchit, 19-7-1 (8), turned pro in 2004 and won the WBC Asian Boxing Council title in 2007. He made one successful defense later that year, and went on to win the WBC International strap in 2009.

Besides his native Thailand, Sor Pleonchit, who’s birth name is Sayan Sirimongkhon, has fought in places such as South Korea, Belgium, Philippines and Australia, so going behind enemy lines is nothing unusual to the 30 year old from Ratchaburi.

The Sebastien Allais vs. Rachamongkol Sor Pleonchit UBO Inter-Continental Welterweight title fight will be promoted by Mr. Serge Pannetier and the Campbon Boxing Club.
