Universal Boxing Organization™ World Middleweight Champion Bronco McKart will return to the ring on September 13 at the Masonic Temple in downtown Detroit against an opponent yet to be named. The fight will be promoted by Kaltsas Productions.

Southpaw McKart (54-10-1, 32 KOs) won the UBO World title in October 2010 by stopping Mexican Michi Munoz in seven rounds at his alma mater, Monroe High School, in hometown Monroe, Michigan.

He last defended the title in April 2012 with a thrilling twelve round majority decision over another Mexican, Jose Medina, at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, and has since been prevented from defending his crown for various reasons.

Most recently a February bout at the famous Joe Louis Arena in Detroit was called off when McKart suffered an injury in sparring, but he is now reportedly back in full force and ready to rumble on the eve of the big Floyd Mayweather vs. Saul Alvarez fight in Las Vegas.

The show, which has been dubbed “Showdown For Motown”, will also feature some of the area’s most promising boxers, such as undefeated Light Middleweight Kronk fighter Tony Harrison (14-0, 11 KOs) facing an opponent TBA, in one of the featured undercard bouts.

Also on display will be upstarts Anthony Barnes (1-0, 1 KO) at Super Middleweight, Welterweight William McElroy (2-0), and Bantamweight Anthony Gallerani (1-0).
