Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Super Welterweight champion Mykal Fox showed again that he is world class when he successfully defended his title on Saturday, February 21, against tough and skilled challenger Ray Robinson.

The fight served as the main event of another quality show promoted by Jeter Promotions at the Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland.

It was a dominant performance by Fox, who boxed well from the start and used his reach to pick off the game challenger from Philadelphia, effectively utilizing his jab and straight left hand.

Robinson tried his best to get on the inside to do his work, but Fox was too sharp for him. In round nine Fox hurt and floored Robinson with the straight left, but Robinson showed his mettle and beat the count.

After ten rounds of boxing judges Paul Wallace, Nicholas Chimienti and Bernard Bruni scored it 98-90, 96-92 and 97-92 respectively. Besides defending his UBO belt, Fox also captured the vacant WBA Continental Americas crown.

Fox, who won the UBO title last July, improved his professional record to 26-5 (5). Robinson, who had not lost since 2018, falls to 26-4–1 (13).
