Mohamed Diallo is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Featherweight champion, winning the vacant title on Saturday night, November 22.

At the Palazzetto Dello Sport in Scandicci, Italy, the Guinea-born puncher impressively stopped usually durable Colombian Juan Benjumea in the second round.

Benjumea had lost a decision over the ten round distance to Cuban Hot-Shot Yeiler Vazquez in his most recent outing, and was expected to give Diallo a tough nights work.

But it ended up being a quick job for “King Mo”, who won his first professional title and improved his record to 10-2 (8). Benjumea, still only twenty-five years old, travels home at 8-3 (7).

The fight was the main event of W.A.S.B. XXII: Warriors Always Strike Back, promoted by ASD Paradiso Boxe in Association with Boxe Lastra a Signa.
