Undefeated Italian prospect Diletta Cipollone passed her biggest test to date, defeating compatriot Jessica Bellusci to win the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Bantamweight title on Saturday night, November 22, in Tivoli, Italy.

In a gritty and taxing fight, Cipollone proved she has a lot to offer in the ring, as she handled the awkwardness and determination of her veteran opponent, nicknamed “Buldozer”.

After ten rounds of boxing, judges Antonello Paolucci, Rosario De Rosa and Luigi Marsili scored the fight 98-92, 98-93 and 100-92, all for Cipollone.

Fighting out of the city of Rimini, Cipollone improved her professional record to 4-0 (1). Lurago Marinone´s Bellusci drops to 6-6 (2).

The fight headlined a show billed as “Dancing In The Dark”, promoted by SS Lazio Pugilato in association with BAT Promotion, ASD Monte Verde Boxe and Boxe Anagni.
