UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Home-town hero Patricio Carrion will take on Bolivian Dilan Meneses for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (South America) Super Lightweight title on August 16 at the Arena Cavancha in Iquique, Chile.

Pato” Carrion (20-1, 4 KOs) is a former WBC Fecunsur champion, a title he won in February of 2024 with a unanimous decision over Argentina´s Alan Boncompagni.

His sole defeat came by split decision almost seven years ago, to undefeated fellow countryman Cristian Olivares, and he has since put together a fourteen-fight winning-streak.

Dilan “La Rafaga” Meneses (8-1, 5 KOs) is entering by far the biggest fight of his career, and must be considered the underdog.

But he aims to make up for what he lacks in experience with youth, being eight years the younger man at twenty-four, superior power, and his determination to prevail against the odds.

With a victory Carrion could be in line to fight for the UBO world Super Lightweight title next, so it will also he his most important fight to date.

Carrion vs. Meneses for the UBO Continental (South America) Super Lightweight title headlines a show promoted by TC2 Boxing.
