A postponed fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Super Featherweight title between Brady Ochoa and Johhny Uribe, originally scheduled for May 17, is back on and now set for June 28.

Delayed when Ochoa was injured less than two weeks out, the rescheduled fight will be one of the featured attractions of “Battle of the Brave”, a card promoted by Rios Boxing Promotions at the Polideportivo Villa De Alvarez in Colima, Mexico, which was also the original venue.

From Gilbert in Arizona, 18-year-old Ochoa is 6-0 (2) since turning professional in Mexico in February of 2024. All his pro fights have taken place south of the US border, the last three in Colima.

In his most recent outing he won the Mexican Pacific Coast Featherweight title, and he is now ready to go for another belt against the tough Uribe, ten years older at 28.

Uribe (6-5-4, 2 KOs) is known for his willingness to fight anyone, and is as tough as they come. Never defeated inside the distance, three of his losses have come against undefeated opponents.

The stacked card also includes a mix of prospects and established fighters, including former two-weight UBO world champion Czarina McCoy.
