FIGHT POSTPONED: NEW DATE MAY 9! When Cabic Promotions presents Cabic Big Fight Night on May 2, one of the featured bouts will see local favourite Emmanuel Mankatah vie for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (Africa) Super Featherweight title.

  
 

In a contest which promises to be action-packed and entertaining, at the Idrowhyt Events Centre in Accra, Ghana, Mankatah will face Nigerian danger-man Yusuf Olalekan.


Mankatah (8-3-1, 6 KOs) got off to a bad start to his professional career, losing twice and drawing once in his first three outings.


But since December of 2021 the 26-year-old has won eight of nine, only coming up short once when he was on the wrong end of a questionable split decision last year.


 
 

In Olalekan (29), who brings a 9-2 (7) record to the fight, he will face a man looking for redemption after dropping a majority decision to world-class operator Tunde Olojede last December.

Both men desperately needs victory to keep their careers moving forward, and the fans could be in for a real treat with this one.
