Only
twenty-five years old, the hard-punching Mexican
won the UBO title at Middleweight, but Super
Welterweight is his preferred weight.
“El
Viejo Jr.”, the son of former boxer Roberto “El
Viejo” Valenzuela, who faced the likes of Andre
Berto, Jose Luis Castillo and Zaheer Raheem,
turned professional at seventeen in 2017.
In less
than two years he stopped thirteen straight
opponents before suffering his first loss, a
decision to Derek Silveira (15-2) in April of
2019.

Since then
he has only lost to absolute world class foes in
Alexis Rocha (14-0), Souleymane Cissokho (14-0),
Bakhram Murtazaliev(20-0) and Xander Zayas (16-0).
Valenzuela
Jr. has won his last five bouts, including a
seventh round stoppage of Eslih Owusu (12-1) to
become UBO champion last November in Revere,
Massachusetts, a fight which was later declared
the 2025 UBO Fight of the Year.
Since then
he has stopped world title-challenger, and former
South American, WBA and WBC regional titlist, Juan
Jose Velasco (24-6) in six rounds, to once again
show that he is a force to be reckoned with.
