Alessio “The Hammer” Bisutti is still the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Heavyweight champion after making his first title-defense on Saturday, April 5, in Pattaya, Thailand.

Bisutti, from Italy but based in Thailand, convincingly defeated challenger Sophot Seesa, wasting no time as he scored a stoppage in the first round.

Seesa attempted to impose his will on the defending champion from the start by coming forward and throwing hard shots, but Bisutti soon retaliated and floored him with a right hand, and then finished the fight shortly after with a vicious uppercut.

It was quick and decisive, and Bisutti had no trouble handling the aggressive approach by the challenger. Official time of stoppage: 1:35.

Bisutti, who won the UBO Inter-Continental title last November, improved his professional record to 12-1 (11). Former Thailand national champion Seesa drops to 14-9-1 (8).

The fight headlined Fight Club Championship 11, a card promoted by FCC Promotions.
