Newly crowned Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) world Super Featherweight champion Bekman Soilybayev is the UBO Boxer of the Month for February 2025.

  
 

Soilybayev (20-1, 11 KOs) won the UBO world title in impressive fashion, stopping undefeated Abeid Zugo (15-0, 13 KOs) on February 23 in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

The skilled 34-year-old Kazakh controlled the fight from start to finish, and ended matters in round four with a combination to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

It was high level stuff against a very good opponent in Zugo, who had proven his worth by defeating former world champions in his two previous outings.


 
 

An excellent performance which brings a little extra in the form of Boxer of the Month honours on top of the world championship.
