UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Two undefeated fighters will decide the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Light Heavyweight title on August 17.

Mike Misa (8-0-1, 5 KOs), from Clearwater, Florida, will collide with New Orleans, Louisiana puncher Deron Isom (5-0, 5 KOs).

The fight is one of the featured bouts of a massive card promoted by Star Fight Productions at the Hilton Saint Petersburg Carillon in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Misa, a pro for just over two years, has already fought three unbeaten foes in the paid ranks, going 2-0-1. This will be his fourth bout of 2024, his first championship fight and likely his most dangerous foe.

At twenty-four, southpaw Isom is the younger man by ten years. He too will be fighting for his first title, and will be jumping in at the deep end against the more experienced Misa who has faced the better opposition.

In the main event of the show, UBO Inter-Continental champion Isaiah Riquelmy takes on Joseph Fernandez for the vacant UBO world Super Lightweight title.
