Welterweight contender Mykal “The Professor”
Fox (22-4, 5 KOs) returns to the ring on
July 20 at the Live Hotel & Casino in
Hanover, Maryland, fighting for the
Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO)
Inter-Continental title.

In one of
the featured fights of a show promoted by Jeter
Promotions, the highly-skilled 28-year-old
southpaw will square off with former two-time
American Boxing Federation (ABF) champion Donald
“Bulldog” Ward (18-12-2, 8 KOs) for the vacant
title.
Fox
should have been a world champion already, as he
was blatantly robbed in a WBA-challenge against
Gabriel Maestre in August of 2021, knocking the
Venezuelan down and dominating the fight, only
to see three judges ridiculously scoring against
him.
Fighting
out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, he recently
signed a promotional contract with Jeter
Promotions, and the road towards a new world
championship opportunity starts against Ward,
by, if successful, winning the UBO
Inter-Continental title.

But the
experienced Ward (34), a professional for twelve
years, is not going to be an easy task, and the
man from Memphis has every intention of causing an
upset.
He has
faced world class opponents before, has only lost
once in his last nine outings, a decision to
former UBO International titlist Emeka Nwokolo,
and this is a big opportunity for him to make a
name for himself.
In the
main event of the stacked card, UBO Continental
(North America) Super Middleweight champion
Immanuwel Aleem (20-3-2, 13 KOs) defends his title
against Vitalii Gubkin (10-4-1, 7 KOs).
