fight due to injuries he
sustained in a car accident, and
now another UBO titelist has had
some bad luck in trafic.
According to promoter Fabian
Heck, female World Featherweight
champion Bettina Gabriela Garino
recently broke here collarbone,
right wrist and right knee in a
car crash. She is hoping to
start rehabilitation as soon as
possible, and hopes are that she
will return to the ring sometime
this spring.

Champion Cecilia Comunales was
celebrated with a big parade in
hometown Paysandu, Uruguay a few
days after her title-winning
bout with Halana Dos Santos on
January 9.
22-year-old Comunales won the
UBO World title by stopping Dos
Santos in round six at Hotel &
Casino Conrad in Punte Del Este.
