Lauren, who won the UBO title in October by
defeating Serbian Eva Halasi, improved her
impressive professional record to 18-2 (6). In the
recent UBO 2012 Boxing Awards Lauren was named UBO
New Female Champion Of The Year.
Next up for Lauren is as a promoter, when she is
part of a group behind a card in Stockholm on
February 2 nd in Stcokholm. She will
not be fighting on the show, however.

Hong Kong boxing-star, and UBO Asia Pacific Super
Flyweight Champion Rex Tso finished 2012
with an impressive victory over Timur Shailezov
from Kyrgyzstan on December 11 at the Convention
Towers and Exhibition Center in Hong Kong.
Tso, the 2012 UBO Prospect Of The Year, captured
his UBO title last April with a victory over
Thailand’s Torsak Singabasak.
Following the victory over Shailezov, promoted by
Hatton Promotions and DEF Boxing, 25-year-old
“Wonderkid” Tso is now 8-0 (5) in the professional
ranks.

International Lightweight Champion Rances
“Kid Blast” Barthelemy won a hard-fought
unanimous decision over undefeated
Afgghanistan-born Canadian Arash Usmanee
(20-0, 10 KOs) on January 4 at the Magic
City Casino in Miami, Florida.
Barthelemy improved his record to 18-0 (11), and
is moved towards a world championship opportunity
later this year.

Ju Hee Kim winning the UBO World
Junior Flyweight title on December 15 was
very big news in South Korea. Kim, the 2012
UBO Boxer Of The Year, continues to be a
major sporting star in her native country!
