Congratulations Jo Jo Dan, And Lots Of Results...

UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™
Congratulations to UBO Inter-Continental Welterweight Champion Jo Jo Dan (29-2, 16 KOs) for getting married this past Saturday, March 17, to long-time girlfriend Anca at the City Hall in Laval, Canada. And good luck to the lovely couple, who is expecting a baby son in May!

Dan is recovering well from the injury he sustained in his last fight, returning to form, and is expected to return to the ring in June or July. Busy times for the 30 year old Romanian-Canadian.

UBO International Cruiserweight Champion David Aloua improved his undefeated record to 6-0 (5) on February 8 when he stopped Monty Fillimaea in the second round at the Claudelands Arena in Hamilton, New Zealand. The UBO title was not on the line.

You can watch the fight via THIS LINK!

Aloua is scheduled to return on April 13 in Brisbane, Australia in what should be a good test against Anthony McCracken (14-5-1, 6 KOs) from Sydney.

On February 19 at the Betamax in Lubumbashi, D. R. Congo, UBO All-Africa Heavyweight Champion, and former undefeated UBO International and Inter-Continental Cruiserweight Champion, Matamba Debatch Postolo moved to 15-0 (9) when he won a unanimous twelve round decision over Michal Bilak from the Czech Republic.

Undefeated UBO All-America Lightweight Champion Jake “The Bull” Giuriceo returned on March 10 with another victory, as he unanimously outscored tough Mexican Jaime Orrantia in a non-title fight at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange, California.

Giuriceo is now 15-0-1 (3) after what was his first outing since winning the UBO title last November against Bryne Green.

Boris Mdinaradze, the UBO Youth Middleweight Champion, scored another non-title victory on March 14 at the Kandelaki Sports Hall in Tbilisi, Georgia when he stopped Ukrainian Volodymyr Borovskyy in seven rounds.

This was the second victory for Mdinaradze, now 21-1 (17), since he won the UBO title in September last year with a spectacular knockout of Tanzanian Selemani Saidi.

UBO World Lightweight Champion Mason Menard was in action on Saturday March 16 and scored another impressive victory.

This time he got rid of Ghanaian Herbert Quartey in the first round of a scheduled eight, and improved his record to 19-1 (14). Next up for Menard could be a defense of his UBO World title.
