Undefeated UBO All-America
Lightweight Champion Jake
“The Bull” Giuriceo returned
on March 10 with another
victory, as he unanimously
outscored tough Mexican Jaime
Orrantia in a non-title fight at
the Doubletree Hotel in Orange,
California.
Giuriceo is now 15-0-1 (3) after what was his
first outing since winning the UBO title last
November against Bryne Green.

Boris Mdinaradze,
the UBO Youth Middleweight
Champion, scored another
non-title victory on March 14 at
the Kandelaki Sports Hall in
Tbilisi, Georgia when he stopped
Ukrainian Volodymyr Borovskyy in
seven rounds.
This was the second victory for
Mdinaradze, now 21-1 (17), since
he won the UBO title in
September last year with a
spectacular knockout of
Tanzanian Selemani Saidi.

UBO World Lightweight Champion
Mason Menard was in
action on Saturday March 16 and
scored another impressive
victory.
This time he got rid of Ghanaian
Herbert Quartey in the first
round of a scheduled eight, and
improved his record to 19-1
(14). Next up for Menard could
be a defense of his UBO World
title.
