Cruiserweight title fight
between Momo Dridi and
Luzimar Gonzaga was recently
relocated to France, and it is
now confirmed that the new date
will be April 28 in Dijon.

Another rescheduling: The UBO
All-Africa light heavyweight
title fight between Egyptians
Hany Atiyo and Adel
Faragaly, originally planned
for later this year in Nigeria,
will now go ahead this coming
Thursday, March 31, in Quofriseh,
Egypt. Promoter Richard Nwoba
and Louaa Boxing.

The UBO would like to extend its
condolences to family and
friends of respected boxing
attorney Milt Chwasky who
passed away a few weeks ago
after battling cancer. Mr.
Chwasky represented many notable
boxing personalities over the
years, including world
heavyweight champions Hasim
Rahman, Lennox Lewis and Riddick
Bowe. RIP Milt Chwasky!

UBO International middleweight
champion Alexey Ribchev
improved his record to 9-2 (3)
on March 13 with a decision
victory over countryman Zdravko
Nikolov in a non-title bout.
Ribchev won the UBO title on
February 20 when he defeated
dangerous Latvian puncher Jurijs
Boreiko in hometown Rousse.
