UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

2009 turned out to be another year of progress for the Universal Boxing Organization. It was a year with many exciting fights, and new top-class boxers fought for UBO titles all over the world.

Looking forward to what 2010 will bring, we, as we do every year, enjoy looking back and honouring the best of the year that went by.

On July 30, Vanuatu’s Kali Jacobus won the UBO International super middleweight title by stopping Temo Kolitapa from Fiji, and less than three months later he captured the world title by defeating Plaisakda Singwancha from Thailand by second round knockout. Kali Jacobus is a proud UBO champion, and hopes to defend his world title in early 2010. His 2009 achievements makes him a clear UBO Boxer Of The Year for 2009.
