32-year-old Foure (19-7-3, 4 KOs) already holds
the WBF International title, a championship he won
last November with an impressive victory over
German prospect Stefan Worth, and he is on a bit
of a hot-streak going 4-0-1 in his last five
fights.
In his latest bout, on November 10 of this year,
Foure fought to a draw with Sebastien Allais for
the French national championship, on the same show
in Campbon where countryman Steven Bloyer captured
the UBO International crown by defeating
Luxembourg’s Ahmed El Hamwi.
Kobe “Magic” Vandekerkhove (21-14-3, 6 KOs), four
years younger at 28, is a real battle-tested
warrior and the reigning Belgian National
Welterweight Champion, a title he captured last
February with a decision over the aforementioned
El Hamwi. |

He followed up on that victory by beating
undefeated Dutchman Brahim Kamal in May, so he
has proved that despite a modest record, with
all but two of his losses coming by decision and
against very good opposition, he is very much
capable of producing impressive results.
The styles of the two fighters gives promise of
an entertaining clash, and the winner could very
well be in line for bigger things in the new
year.
