20.000 IN ATTENDANCE AS DELIC RETAINS WORLD TITLE!

Universsal Boxing Organization world cruiserweight champion Goran Delic successfully defended his crown on June 28 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On what is a great orthodox holiday in B & H, Delic stopped tough Portuguese Pedro Antonio Quinganga in round ten.

The bout took place in front of 20.000 spectators at the City Stadium, home of local football club Borac, and was staged by promoter Ljubomir Vidovic and the Serbian Professional Boxing Federation.

With the victory, his first defence of the UBO world title, Delic improved his undefeated record to 10-0, and is slated to defend again in December.

UBO supervisor for the fight was Mr. Willibald Palatin from Austria, judges were Mr. Josef Temml (Austria), Mr. Rajko Djajic (Serbia) and Mr. Predrag Aleksic (Montenegro).

Referee in charge of the action was Mr. Zdravko Milojevic (B & H).
