Joann Balgobin from Floyd Trumpet Boxing
Productions, who is promoting in association with
Unified Boxing Promotions, has informed the UBO
that despite being of the impression that a deal
was done, the bout was not set after all and Julio
Julio is now signed for the fight.
As a consequence of the late change in opponent,
the whole show had to be postponed to late July.
Emilio “El Tornado” Julio Julio is 31 years old,
and brings a professional record of 19-6-1 (12).
He turned professional in 2001, and last fought on
April 30 where he stopped countryman Alexis
Maldonado in the first round in Puerto Columbia,
Columbia.
