Sadiki,
10-0-1
(5),
won the UBO title last August when he beat
undefeated Zambian Udida Muayila by unanimous
decision. That event was staged under the high
patronage of his Excellency governor Simon
Floribert Mbatshi-Mbatshi, who will also be
supporting the
May 7 fight.
The show will be promoted by
Mukadi Manda. These days based in France, Manda is now the
number-one promoter of boxing events in D.R.C.,
and will arrive in Kinshasa on April 14 before
going to Matadi to oversee the
May 7
promotion.
If he is successful against Asma, Maroy Sadiki
could next be going for the UBO Youth World title,
currently held by Hizni Altunkaya from Germany.
