Promoter Chad Broussard is working on finalizing a
suitable opponent for his 22-year-old charge, and
is hoping to be able to announce the name within a
few weeks.
Menard, the 2010 UBO Prospect of the Year, won the
All-America title last July when he stopped
Missouri state titlist Robbie Cannon in seven
rounds at the Civic Center in his hometown of
Rayne.
He has since won two non-title fights, stopping
Terrance Roy and Dedrick Bell in two and seven
rounds respectively.
Also appearing on the Boxncar Promotions show will
be up-and-comers Bobby Bryant (9-0), Todd Manuel
(4-0), Jarred Leblanc (12-1), Bailey Bobbit (4-0),
Jessie Patin (4-1) and debutant Nate Heaven.
