Dominant Mario Boboc UBO Inter-Continental Champion

With an impressive performance in his opponents country, Mario Boboc won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Middleweight title on Saturday, July 18.

  
 

In Islamabad, Pakistan, Romania´s Boboc was on top of his game, as he defeated Hassan Ghani by wide unanimous decision.


Boboc took control from the start, and put on a focused and disciplined display. In round six he scored a knock-down, but Ghani proved he was game, and beat the count of referee Niamat Gul.

In the end there was no doubt about the outcome, as all three judges scored it identical: 100-89.


 
 

The new UBO Inter-Continental Middleweight champion improved his record to 6-2 (4), while Ghani drops to 4-2 (2).

The fight headlined “The Crown & Glory II”, promoted by Howdy´s Boxing Promotion in association with Alexandru Florin Ionut.
