Former Italian champion Jonatan Sannino (18-5-1, 4 KOs) is aiming to put on a convincing performance when he fights for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Bantamweight title on July 17.

In Livorno, the city where he was born, raised and is currently residing, he will face powerful co-challenger Alison Caballero (21-4, 21 KOs) in the main event of a card promoted by ASD Spes Fortitude.

33-year-old Sannino turned professional in 2015, and won and lost the Italian national title at Super Bantamweight in 2021.

Now he is ready for his first opportunity to win a non-domestic title, and with his home-town fans behind him he is looking to make the most of it.

And against Caballero (29) he will have to be on top of his game, as the Venezuelan puncher is dangerous with both hands and used to ending his fights early.

Sannino has competed at a higher level than Caballero, and is likely the better technician, but the visitor knows that he can finish a fight at any time.

It remains to be seen if the local hero can keep his hungry foe at bay and win the boxing match, or if the man nicknamed “El Humilde” (The Humble) can overwhelm the Italian to win the fight.
