Brothers Remsey and Wyatt Trujillo both
captured
Universal

(UBO)
titles
in
impressive fashion
on Friday
night, May 1, at Parque de la Industria in
Guatemala City, Guatemala.

20-year-old
Remsey Trujillo defeated tough Mexican Edgar “Soldado”
Medina Arjona
by landslide
unanimous decision
to win the
vacant UBO Inter-Continental Super Welterweight
title.
Trujillo,
going the full ten round distance for the first
time in his career, boxed excellently against a
game opponent who never stopped trying to come
forward.
The
Mexican hard-man took everything, but Trujillo
never rushed his work and showed great composure
as he picked him off in every round.

With
Guatemalan national and WBF International titles
also on his resume, Trujillo improved his
professional record to 12-0-1 (9),
while Medina Arjona is now 11-7
(1).

In the
co-feature, Wyatt Trujillo (22) became the UBO
Youth Super Middleweight champion when he beat
another Mexican in fellow undefeated prospect
Jesus Lara Robles.
The older
Trujillo had a much quicker nights work, as he
floored Lara Robles twice in round two, both
times with body-shots, to get the stoppage.
Lara
Robles managed to get up from the first
knock-down, but when Trujillo sent him down
again he shook his head and was counted out.

Wyatt, a
former WBC Latino and WBF International titlist,
took his record to 16-0 (12). Lara Robles, only
twenty-one and with plenty of time to rebound,
drops to 6-1 (4).
The show
was promoted by Power Punch Promotions in
association with Trujillo Promotions.
