20-year-old Guatemalan Remsey Trujillo should be in for a stern test when he fights for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Super Welterweight title on May 1 in Guatemala City.

Trujillo (11-0-1, 9 KOs) will fight tough Mexican Edgar Medina “Soldado” Arjona, who brings a modest but deceiving 11-6 (1) record, but has only been stopped once, has been in with very good opponents, and has won over the ten round distance.

Trujillo is the reigning Guatemala national champion and former WBF Intercontinental champion, but has never been past eight rounds and is used to getting his opponents out early.

In Medina Arjona (35) he will be in front of a man with vast experience and pride, someone who comes to win even if the odds are stacked against him.

Not known for his power, the Mexican is technically sound and aggressive, and game as they come. His plan will undoubtedly be to take the young man into deep waters before drowning him, while Trujillo believes he will have no problems swimming in those deep waters.

The Trujillo vs. Medina Arjona UBO Inter-Continental Super Welterweight title fight will be part of a UBO championship double-header promoted by Power Punch Promotions and Trujillo Promotions.
