Baja Boxing presents Fight Club at the Arena Tecate in Tijuana, Mexico on August 23, with Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) championship boxing topping the bill.

 
 

21-year-old US prospect Aaron Maximus Garcia fights Mexican Carlos Mejia for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Bantamweight title.

Garcia, from Payson in Utah, is undefeated at 7-0 (6) as a pro, after a stellar amateur career that saw him win no less than eleven national titles.


In the paid ranks this will be his first championship opportunity, and without a doubt his best opponent in Mejia (8-2-1, 5 KOs), who has gone undefeated in his last six outings.


 
 

Garcia is a highly-regarded up-and-coming fighter, and the UBO title fight against Mejia is another step for him towards the absolute top. But it will not be an easy step, and Mejia is a live underdog.

The Garcia vs. Mejia UBO Inter-Continental title fight will be streamed live by AYM, Pluto TV and ITV.
