Immanuwel “The Chosen One” Aleem (22-3-3, 14 KOs), the newly crowned Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight champion, is the UBO Boxer of the Month for July 2025.

  
 

Aleem (31) rematched Demond Nicholson, whom he had drawn with in 2016, and firmly set the record straight on July 26 at the Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, in the main event of a show staged by Jeter Promotions.

The hard-punching and experienced Nicholson (27-6-1, 23 KOs) was expectedly tough and game, but Aleem had another gear and eventually broke him down, scoring an impressive ninth round stoppage.

A lot of water had run under the bridge since their original encounter, and both men had experienced ups and downs, but both desperately wanted to settle the score once and for all, and prove himself as the better man.


 
 

Aleem did just that, and took home his second UBO title in the process.
