This is a
rematch of their 2016 draw, and both men are
eager to settle the score almost exactly nine
years later in one of the featured fights of
another big show promoted by Jeter Promotions at
the Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland.
In their
original encounter, Aleem, who went on to win
several titles, including the UBO Continental
(North America) Super Middleweight title in
2024, felt hard done-by as what appeared to be a
knock-down was ruled a slip instead of being the
deciding factor for him on the scorecards.
Nicholson also
went on to do well for himself, winning titles
and fighting some of the biggest names in the
sport. In 2021 he was the first man to take
Edgar Berlanga the distance, after the Puerto
Rican-American had stopped all his previous
sixteen foes in the first round!
