Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Youth Welterweight champion Pasquale Barile is the UBO Boxer of the Month for April 2025.

  
 

The 23-year-old Italian won the title in impressive and devastating fashion on April 11 in Rome when he came in as the underdog and scored a conclusive third round knockout over compatriot Patrizio Santini.

Santini (13-2), fighting in his home-town, was highly favoured going in, but Barile never the less appeared in control early on.

Not known as a puncher, the way he finished the fight was very unexpected, as he completely flattened Santini with one, perfect punch.


 
 

The emphatic victory took his record to a very deceiving 8-4 (1), and it will be interesting to see how he can build on what is so far his biggest win.
