18-year-old Brady Ochoa, from Gilbert, Arizona, is set to fight for the vavant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Featherweight title on May 17.

Ochoa (6-0, 2 KOs) will face tough Mexican Jonathan Uribe (6-5-4, 2 KOs) in the main event of a show promoted by Rios Boxing in association with Bazooka Boxing Promotions at the Polideportivo Villa De Alvarez in Colima, Mexico.

Ochoa turned pro at sixteen in Mexico in February of 2024, before the legal age to box professionally in the USA, and has since boxed exclusively south of the US border. This will be his fifth straight outing in Colima.

Almost exactly a year after entering the paid ranks, he won the Mexican Pacific Coast title with a unanimous decision over Jorge Ortega Bojorquez.

Now he is ready to go for his second belt, and should expect very tough opposition from the more experienced Uribe (27), who always comes to fight and has never been stopped.

The stacked card also includes a mix of prospects and established fighters, including former two-weight UBO world champion Czarina McCoy.
