UBO Youth Welterweight Title On The Line April 11 In Rome

Patrizio “The Prince” Santini (13-2, 3 KOs) will fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Youth Welterweight title on April 11 at the Palatorrino in Rome, Italy.

  
 

In October of 2023 Santini lost a challenge for the IBF Youth title at Super Lightweight against undefeated Armando Casamonica.


He has since rebounded with three solid wins, and is now ready for a crack at the UBO version a weight class above.

The local man will face compatriot Pasquale Barile, who, while bringing a modest 7-4 ledger, is on form with victories in five of his last six outings.


 
 

Last December he derailed unbeaten prospect Francesco Mignone, and most recently, on March 1, Barile outpointed former UBO Inter-Continental titlist Francesco lezzi to secure the best win of his career so far.

Santini vs. Barile for the vacant UBO Youth Welterweight title will be presented by De Carolis Promotions in association with ASD Boxe Massai.
