Jeddy, Chauhan Squares Off For UBO Youth World Title February 1

The vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Youth World Bantamweight title will be up for grabs when undefeated rivals Ali Abbas Jeddy and Sagar Chauhan square off on February 1 in Bangkok, Thailand.

  
 

The fight is one of the featured attractions of “The Fighter – World Boxing”, a massive event at the Bazaar Hotel Bangkok, promoted by TL Boxing Promotions in association with Irfin Promotions.

Jeddy (6-0, 1 KO) is considered perhaps the most promising prospect from Pakistan. The popular 20-year-old fights in Thailand for the second time in what will be his first championship bout as a professional.


His opponent, India´s Chauhan (4-0-1, 1 KO), has one less fight, but has arguably faced better opposition since turning pro in September of 2023.


 
 

Last August, Chauhan (24) convincingly out-scored very capable compatriot Shanborlang Marbaniang over eight rounds, and he will feel he is more than ready for what Jeddy can bring.

Jeddy vs. Chauhan for the UBO Youth world Bantamweight title will be broadcast live in Thailand by Workpoint Channel 23.
