At the Gimnasio Fiscal in his home-town of
Llanquihue, Chile, Cruzat took on Andres
Penaloza from Colombia, and put on what can only
be described as a statement performance.
Cruzat was the boss from the start, using his
longer reach to keep Penaloza at bay and hitting
him with shots to both body and head.
In round three Cruzat floored Penaloza twice,
but the game Colombian beat the count of referee
Claudio Villanueva both times and made it
through the stanza.
