Ali Raymi is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ World Junior Flyweight Champion after destroying arch-rival Prince Maz in the second round of their fight on Wednesday November 19 at the 22 May Sports Stadium in Sanaa, Yemen.

Raymi, who holds a world record with twenty-one consecutive first round stoppages at the beginning of a career, overwhelmed Maz in the second round, and referee Amin Anisi had seen enough and waved it off at 0:27 of the stanza.

The new world champion, on the hunt for fights against the biggest names on the scene, improved his impressive professional record to 24-0 (24), in a career that began less than four years ago, while Maz drops to 9-4 (7).

Going out live on Yemen television, the show was promoted by Sadik Al-Magharim and saw bouts with local talent squaring off on the undercard. Flyweight Ahmad Jumaai won his sixth straight fight in the first round, and could be on a collision course with Raymi in the near future.
