UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

When SKV Boxing promotes on May 23 at the Basket Hall in Krasnodar, Russia on May 23, it will be with two Universal Boxing Organization™ championship fights on the bill.

Undefeated female star Natalia Smirnova, born in Samara, Russia but based in Hamburg, Germany, will take on Yarkor Chavez Annan from Ghana for the vacant UBO World Super Featherweight title.

Smirnova (7-0, 4 KOs) already has two title fights on her resume, and in her latest outing she won the WBF Intercontinental title at Lightweight.

Annan (9-6-1, 3 KOs), has shared the ring with undefeated opponents such as Helen Joseph, Lyndsey Scragg (twice) and Susie Ramadhan, and fought outside Ghana seven times before, so travelling to Russia will not faze her.

Coming off two victories this spring in Accra, Annan will be looking to extend her winning-streak and capture the UBO world title in impressive fashion.

In the second UBO title fight on the card, 19-year-old Ukrainian amateur sensation Vladyslav Yeromenko (1-0) will aim to make history by becoming the first boxer to capture a UBO title in only his second pro outing.

Yeromenko, a five-time Ukrainian national champion, takes on Russia’s Aliklych Kanbolatov (7-2, 3 KOs) for the vacant International Middleweight crown.

After losing two of his first three pro fights, Kanbolatov has come out victorious from his last six bouts, and his experience, combined with the fact that he is fighting on home turf, makes this a very interesting match-up on paper.

The big show will also feature UBO World Cruiserweight champion Dmitry Kudriashov (13-0, 13 KOs) against an opponent to be announced, and a well-matched undercard.
