FEMALE RANKINGS:
1. No boxer shall be ranked in more than one
(1) weight division.
2. Rankings are based on win/loss records,
level of competition, activity and a boxer’s
adherence to UBO rules and regulations.
3. UBO Intercontinental champions may be
included in the top five (5).
4. For a boxer to remain in the top five (5)
she must compete at least once during a
twelve (12) month period from the time a
boxer gets ranked.
5. If a top
five (5) ranked boxer loses
to an un-ranked boxer then the ranked boxer
shall be lowered or removed from the
rankings. The un-ranked boxer may be
considered for a ranking in the top five
(5).
6. If two boxers are ranked in the top
five (5) and compete against each other
then the following shall apply:
A) If the higher ranked boxer wins, she may
be elevated in the rankings.
B) If the lower ranked boxer wins, she will
take the position of the higher ranked
fighter.
C) If the higher ranked fighter loses she
shall be lowered in the rankings.
7. It is the responsibility of the boxer’s
management to notify the UBO of a boxer’s
activity.
8. All rankings criteria are subject to
exception.
A disqualification victory over a
top five (5) ranked opponent does not
guarantee a top five (5) ranking.
