UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

FIGHT CANCELLED! He went 5-0 (3) in 2021, won and defended the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) World Lightweight title, and now Noel “The Holy Fire” Echevarria (20-7, 12 KOs) is aiming for an even bigger 2022.

On April 23 at The Venue at Coosa Landing in Gadsden, Alabama, the 2021 UBO Boxer of the Year will be making his second world title-defense against an opponent to be announced.

Echevarria, born in Guayama, Puerto Rico but now residing in Kernersville, North Carolina, will be returning to familiar ground.

After winning the UBO world title in August against former IBF world title-holder Rodrigo Guerrero, he made his maiden defense in Gadsden two months later, fending off game challenger Jerome Conquest.

After a busy ten months in 2021, between January and October, the 31-year-old southpaw took a deserved break over the holidays, but he is now back in training and will announce another tough challenger for April 23 in due cause.

The fight will be headlining a stacked card promoted by One One Six Boxing Promotions.
