Argentina, local star Betina
Gabriela Garino will take on
Michelle Larissa Bonassoli from
Brazil for the vacant Universal
Boxing Organization Female World
Featherweight title.
The classic Argentina vs. Brazil
rivalry will be promoted by
Fabian Heck Promotions, and a
large crowd is expected at the
4500 capacity venue.
Garino, who holds a fine 14-7-1
(2) record, has previously
fought for WBA, WBC and GBU
world titles. In January of this
year she won the Argentinean
national title, beating Maria
Quiroga on points.
22-year-old Bonassoli is 9-3
(7), and riding a six-fight
winning streak into what will be
her first world title
